I work in Singapore quite regularly (am just back from there and Melbourne in fact), how long are you there for?
For touristy things, red bus tour, river cruise, night safari, Sentosa Island
Boat Quay, Clarke Quay and Holland Village for drinks, and the club bar on top of Marina Bay Sands if you can get access.
Food depends on your budget, but definitely do a hawker market. The one on the old airport road is great.
Singapore is always stupidly humid, get undershirts - may sound counterproductive to put on another layer, but stops you looking like you've been caught in the rain.
Speaking of which, this time of year it will rain every day at about 5pm and it can be utterly mental rain too - so beware

Singapore is nice enough although it has a very ‘manicured’ feel. You could entertain yourself for a couple of days pottering around Chinatown and going for a meal at Marina Sands. Mount Faber has a restaurant where you can have dinner and watch the lights of the cable cars disappear into the night.
My favourite part of Bali is out east near Amed. You can get a taxi or ‘bemo’ out to the water temple of Tirta Gangga, stay there for a night, and then another one down to Amed, stay there and explore the little beaches around there.

Must have been to Bali about 10 times, having spent a good part of my life in Perth.
I love the place and the beauty of Bali is that it caters to whatever type of holiday you're after. Nightlife, culture, beaches, restaurants, shopping, adventure. The restaurants in particular are brilliant and a million miles from when I first started going, 20 years ago.
Prices are a huge attraction - a good meal would cost 4 - 8 quid. The local beer is pretty good (Bintang). If you like a good massage, there are any number of legitimate salons that charge about 3-4 quid for an hour's worth. There are the other types too, if that's your thing.
There are fabulous islands dotted around Bali that take 30 mins - 1 hour to reach by fast boat. Around 30 quid will buy you a day trip.
Try Coco's in Legian for their happy hour - half price cocktails. Lovely spot.

I was wondering more whether you'd be there for Nyepi - their festival where you're not allowed to use electricity/show light or be on the street for 24 hours. We were inadvertently there for that - we had to change hotel as ours was small and had no pool. Didn't need one originally as you don't go to Bali for a pool, but when the alternative is four walls....

Did ten days or so at DoubleSix beach a few years ago and didn't hear a single Aussie accent until we thought we'd go to Kuta for a night just to see. You can avoid them.

Beaches down in Kuta, Seminyak and Legian are struggling to deal with all the plastic washing up on the beaches. The beaches look stunning in pictures but be prepared to sunbathe with a few plastic bottles and yoghurt pots next to you and the remains of coconut trees.
Such a sad state of affairs as the place is nice and the people can't do enough for you. Hope you like an Aussie accent as the place is full of them.
I was there 2 weeks ago before heading back to the Philippines. Enjoy it
